Get in touchDAY 0: INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT – ANTANANARIVO
Meet at the airport then transfer to the hotel. Check in upon arrival.
DAY 1: ANTANANARIVO – ANKARAFANTSIKA
Leave the capital early in the morning to drive to Ankarafantsika for almost all day. Some stops along the road to photograph the impressive landscape and stretching legs. The beauty of the views will make you forget how long the road is.
DAY 2: ANKARAFANTSIKA NATIONAL PARK
One full day visit of the dry deciduous forest of Ankarafantsika by starting at the forest to meet some lemurs ‘species such as Cocquerel’ Sifaka, fulvus fulvus.., Iguanes “Oplurus cuveiri et cyclurus, birds… then back for the tour of the Ravelobe lake in the afternoon.
DAY 3: ANKARAFANTSIKA – ANTSOHIHY
Drive to catch up the NR6 to the north to reach Antsohihy city. Expected to be at the hotel in the late afternoon
DAY 4: ANTSOHIHY – AMBANJA – ANKARANA
Keep driving ahead to Ankarana National Park by passing through Ambanja and Ambilobe cities. This road takes almost full day drive including the lunch time and some beaks.
DAY 5: ANKARANA National Park
Visit of Ankarana NP accompanied by local guide to meet lemurs and rare birds or reptiles; see the large cave of the bats and the limestone rock formation (tsingy) with its long suspended bridge and wide view. Picnic lunch inside the park then back to the hotel in the afternoon. Evening walk to spot the nocturnal endemic species of lemurs, reptiles.
DAY 6: ANKARANA – TSINGY ROUGE - JOFFRE VILLE
In the morning, start driving to the north. Leave the main road after few hours to join the Red Tsingy hidden in the bush. This is a nice scenery resulting from erosion. View on different canyons. After the visit, continue the road to reach the destination. Check-in at the hotel.
DAY 7: JOFFRE VILLE (AMBER MOUNTAIN National Park) – RAMENA
After breakfast, drive up to the entrance park to meet the local guide. This place is home for several species of lemurs, reptiles, plants. This park is also the place where to find one of the smallest chameleon’s species in the world called “brookesia tuberculata”. Out of the forest in the afternoon, drive to Ramena by passing through the Diego city.
DAY 8: RAMENA
Drive back to the entrance of French Mountain site for a walk to know its historic colonial, climbing with 374 stairs inside the tunnel. This site have a two panoramic views of Diego-Suarez bay which is known as a second biggest bay in the world, different species of birds, plants and baobab. Back to the hotel for lunch and relax on the beach of Sakalava Bay in the afternoon.
DAY 9: RAMENA - AMBANJA
All day drive from Diego to Ankify where to overnight with some stops for photography and stretching legs. Lunch en route and continue to drive until the destination. Hotel check-in on arrival.
DAY 10: AMBANJA - ANKIFY - NOSY BE
Day to visit the largest cocoa plantation company belongs on the “Chocolaterie Robert” which produce the best chocolate in Madagascar. Later, transfer to Ankify to catch the boat to Nosy be island. Admire the beauty of the famous paradisiac beach. Upon arrival, hotel check in.
DAY 11: to DAY 14: NOSY BE
Some days totally at leisure in the island of Nosy Be. Several interesting activities are available as boat trips to the small peripheral islands of Nosy Be (Nosy Komba, Nosy Tanikely, Nosy Iranja and Nosy Sakatia). It is possible to visit the small zoological park located on the heights of the island to see the Macaco lemurs, turtles and some endemic species of snake. You can also enjoy the marine activities, as the beaches of Nosy be are ideal places for diving with underwater reserves which are real aquarium alive decorated by coral of multicolored fishes.
DAY 15: NOSY BE - ANTANANARIVO (flight)=
After some days at leisure, leave Nosy Be and head to the capital. Transfer to the airport for catching the flight back to Antananarivo. Pick up on arrival, go to the craft markets to purchase some souvenirs. After that, transfer to the airport for the international flight. END OF THE PROGRAM
